The Richland Hospital currently has a per diem positions open in our Dietary Department as a Dietary Assistant. This position will work a variable schedule with a weekend rotation. The Dietary Assistant prepares and delivers food trays to hospital patients and serves customers in the cafeteria. The preparation and delivery of food trays involves some food preparation, placing items on the patient tray and apportioning food services according to specified diet, delivering and serving trays to patients, and collecting dirty dishes and returning them to the kitchen. This position includes washing and putting away dishes. The Dietary Assistant is responsible for, serving food to customers and taking payment for the food served.
