We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dietary Assistant to join our team at Bay 9 Holdings LLC dba Edgemere in Dallas, Texas. The Dietary Assistant will be responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals to residents, tray set-up, serving regular meals, and preparing snacks for special events.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a part-time and/or full-time hourly position starting at $15.50 per hour. Benefits include competitive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, generous PTO and holiday vacation time, and a 401K plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to residents and guests.
• Distribute food according to dietary guidelines and individual meal plans.
• Set up tables and bus tables after meals.
• Initiate tray service, ensuring food quality and temperature, and manage tray delivery and retrieval.
• Organize and stock station supplies.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in the workstation.
• Follow all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain punctuality and attendance.

Requirements

• No formal educational requirement; ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow instructions is necessary.
• Food Handler certification obtained within 60 days of hire, if applicable by state law.
