Job Overview

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $16.32 - $22 per hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN. It is a great entry-level position for someone interested in a medical career or a student.

This nutrition services schedule includes:

• 40 hours every two weeks
• Day/evening shifts
• Includes every other weekend and holiday

Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs, is managed by Ebenezer. We offer 137 units across Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, and Transitional Care. Our team is experienced and dedicated. Responsibilities:

• Serve prepared meals to residents and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting
• Promote positive resident relations and happiness during meal service
• Sanitize equipment and work areas, maintain supplies
• Assist with meal preparation and special events
• Support kitchen operations with dishwashing and cleaning
• Answer phones and communicate requests appropriately

Qualifications:

• No previous experience required; work experience in customer service preferred
• Excellent customer service skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude
• Desire to work with seniors
• Ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with residents and staff
