Summary

Performs a variety of routine manual tasks in the Food and Nutrition department regarding the patient tray line, nourishment area, kosher kitchen, sanitation, and/or retail functions. Duties performed will vary depending on specific area assigned.

Responsibilities

1. Employee takes responsibility for the set-up of a Dietary Service area, ensuring all needed items are available and the area is neat, compliant with food safety regulations, and ready on time.
2. Demonstrates a positive customer service attitude, complies with uniform and dress code policies, responds promptly and friendly to customers, and uses proper phone etiquette.
3. Understands and promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of Levindale and LifeBridge; maintains Kosher kitchens as directed; participates in initiatives to increase resident/patient satisfaction.
4. Completes all mandatory training and supports resident and staff life initiatives.
5. Works as part of a team, completes daily tasks, accepts additional responsibilities, and assists in training new team members.
6. Adheres to sanitation, food safety, and work safety practices, maintains a clean work environment, and uses personal protective equipment properly.
7. Supports regulatory compliance with food temperatures, sanitation standards, and safety procedures.
