Job summary

Bethany of the Northwest, a nonprofit church‑owned organization, seeks a part‑time Dietary Aide for Silver Crest Assisted Living in Everett, WA. The role provides nutritious meals for residents and requires a current Washington State Food Handler’s permit, good communication, and a friendly, patient demeanor.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 3:30pm–8:00pm (22.5 hours). Pay rate: $20 per hour. Benefits include sick leave, holiday bonuses, and other company perks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to interact with residents and staff with patience and tact. -- optional clarification

• Coordinate Dietary Services with other departments as necessary.
• Assure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Assist in taking inventory and other relative duties.
• Assist in developing methods of determining quality and quantity of food served.
• Report all accidents/incidents as established by policy.
