Responsibilities
  1. Handle and store all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
  2. Assist with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
  3. Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe food handling practices.
  4. Assist with setting up the food tray line.
  5. Assemble diet trays and deliver tray carts to dining areas or units.
  6. Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment following facility procedures.
  7. Assist in dishwashing and cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. One year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting preferred.
  3. Acceptable exemption required if applicable.
