Job summary

Caldera Care's Spokane Falls Care facility in Spokane, WA is seeking a Dietary Aide for a part-time/PRN role. You will assist with meal preparation, portion control, and serving meals while ensuring diets and dietary restrictions are followed, contributing to a warm, home-like environment for residents.

This position offers a pay range of $17.13–$19.00 per hour DOE, along with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be interested in geriatrics and proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in dietary techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals, desserts and snacks according to the posted menu schedule and dietary needs.
• Serves meals that are palatable and presentable.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, sanitized; duties may include washing pots and pans.
• Follows health code requirements for food storage and hot/cold holding temperatures and maintains documentation.
