Job summary

Spokane Falls Care is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide in Spokane, WA to assist with meals, desserts, and snacks for residents according to the posted menu and dietary needs.

You will support food service operations, maintain a clean work area, observe health-code requirements, and communicate in English. This role offers competitive pay and works on-site within a compassionate geriatrics environment.

Qualifications

• Must be interested in geriatrics and able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in dietary techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals, desserts and snacks in accordance with posted menu schedule; follows special diets and dietary concerns.
• Serves meals that are palatable and presentable.
• Keeps work area clean, organized and sanitized; may wash pots and pans.
• Knows health code requirements for food storage and hot/cold holding temperatures and maintains documentation.

• Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized, sanitized, may include washing pots and pans, etc
• Knows health code requirements for food and beverage storage and hot/cold holding temperatures and maintains documentation

Cook Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Knowledgeable and experience in dietary techniques and procedures
