Description

POSITION PURPOSE: Part-Time shifts available. Positions assist the cook and other Aide in the preparation, serving and clean up of meals in an orderly, timely manner, using established procedures in response to requirements as directed by Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Others may be assigned:

Practice good sanitation in handling food and equipment through knowledge and application of infection control techniques and standards. Perform tasks with accuracy and in manner demonstrating care for equipment and environment. Assist in tray service through pre-setting, preparation and pick up in accordance with procedures. Assist in dish handling through delivery of dirty dishes, unloading, washing, and storing clean dishes, in accordance with procedures. Perform daily and scheduled cleaning duties.

Able to organize work to perform in efficient and timely manner. Attend in-service meetings and participate in continuing education to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills. Maintains confidential nature of residents and work environment.
