Job summary

The Mather is hiring a Life Centre Server in Evanston, IL to deliver warm, personalized dining experiences for residents and guests in the Life Centre dining environment. You will greet residents, take accurate orders, and ensure meals meet dietary needs while delivering safe, timely service.

This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $18–$20 with competitive benefits, PTO, and wellness programs, supporting a collaborative, resident-focused team in a vibrant senior living community.

Join the team at The Mather Evanston as a Life Centre Server, where hospitality and meaningful connections are at the heart of the dining experience. You’ll help create welcoming, enjoyable experiences for our residents and guests while providing attentive and personalized service in our Life Centre dining environment.

From greeting residents warmly and taking accurate orders to making sure meals are served safely and according to individual dietary needs, you’ll play an important role in making every dining experience exceptional. You’ll also have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with residents while working alongside a supportive team in a vibrant senior living community.

This position is part-time, the schedule is: any weekday 4:00pm-8:30pm. Saturday and Sunday flexible hours.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Welcomes all tables with a warm and friendly greeting.

• Consistently communicates resident and guests concerns to supervisors and/or management.
• Assists in maintaining and achieving departmental sanitation standards and goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required:

Excellent interaction and communication skills.

Prior service experience in dining environment.

The hourly base wage range provided is a good faith estimate of what Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, certifications, years of experience, geographic location, and current market conditions. Hourly Pay Range

$18 - $20 USD
