Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus and dietary needs while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, cleaning equipment, and upholding food safety standards. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is favored.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
