Job summary

Rest Haven-York in York, PA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide for full-time shifts at 6am-2:30pm or 9:30am-6pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will assist with meal service, food storage, and maintaining sanitary kitchen practices.

This role requires following oral and written instructions, cooperating with other staff, and upholding safety, QAIP, and ethics standards within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to cooperate and communicate with others.
• Criminal history background clearance-Act 169 and Act 13.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform assigned positions as outlined in department responsibility schedules.
• Maintains clean, sanitary work areas and follows sanitary practices.
• Ensures that food items and leftovers are stored properly.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• Attends and participates in dept. meetings and facility in-services.
• Follows department, facility and regulatory policies, procedures and standards.
