Job summary

The GreenFields Continuing Care Community in East Lancaster, NY is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support our skilled care and rehabilitation dining program. You will assist with meals, beverages, and desserts, following proper portions, safety, and sanitation standards to provide residents with nutritious, comforting dining experiences.

This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and attention to residents' dietary needs, with benefits aligned to PT status and weekend rotation inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Must read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in food service or hospitality is helpful, especially in healthcare or senior living.
  • Must follow safety and sanitation guidelines consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment and food preparation areas.
  • Prepare and serve meals, beverages and desserts with proper portions.
  • Assist with special diets and thickened liquids as needed.
  • Maintain clean dining spaces and practice good hygiene.
