Dietary Aide Opportunity (PRN - 4:00-7:00PM)

Cumberland Hall Hospital is a 97 bed, licensed, acute psychiatric hospital located in beautiful Hopkinsville, KY. Cumberland Hall features individual units for youth, adults and active duty military, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average over 1500 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Cumberland Hall Hospital.

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring quality meal service in a hospital setting. Responsibiliries include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. This postition follows all health, hygeine, and sanitation standards while supporting a smooth and efficient food production process.

Job Duties to include:

• Complying with all applicable sanitation, health and person hygiene standards and following established food production procedures
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Provide quality service to patients and staff while performing serving line duties
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school education or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience: Prior experience in related food service position preferred.
• Knowledge: Working knowledge of kitchen equipment, ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Responsible to support the Mission, Values and Vision of Cumberland Hall by preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served complying with all established standards.
• Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.

Schedule: PRN, 4:00-7:00pm, estimated 4 days a week (Monday through Friday), weekends as needed
