Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal assembly, cold food preparation and dining services in the Dietary Department.

The role is non-benefited with rotating shifts, including weekends, at a busy hospital campus. Responsibilities include preparing meals, serving meals with strict hygiene standards, assisting with nutrition education, and handling patient meal orders by phone.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency (preferred).
• Barista or food service experience.
• 1 year experience (minimum).
• 2-4 years experience (preferred).

• Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.
• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning.
• Assisting with educational programs on nutrition.
• Talking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal order.
