Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with meal prep, serve, and maintain clean dining areas while following safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and may require ServSafe or Food Handler certification depending on state rules. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants, staff and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
