Job summary

FutureCare Associates, Inc. seeks a Dietary Aide/Porter to join the Food & Hospitality team in delivering nutritional services to residents.

Under supervision of the Clinical Food Service Director, you will follow food safety and sanitation policies and ensure proper food handling. The role offers competitive hourly pay with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a leading healthcare provider.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous healthcare facility or clinical environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Courteous and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or longer.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods.
• Serve and deliver food to residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Store food properly and monitor temperatures.
• Transport and deliver food/beverage items to residents.
• Assist in lifting or transporting large kitchen items.
• Operate/load the dishwasher.
• Maintain sanitation with proper chemicals and water levels.
