Job summary

Prosser Memorial Health in Prosser, WA is seeking a Per Diem on-call Food Service Aide to support patient meals. You will help patients choose menu options, assemble, deliver and pick-up meal trays, and work with the caregiving team to ensure meals are accurate, safe, and timely.

The role involves routine kitchen and dishwashing tasks, complying with regulatory requirements. A high school diploma is required; you must be able to read and follow English instructions and lift up to 50 pounds or

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English; basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, and push food delivery carts. On-the-job training up to 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal selection, assemble, deliver and pick-up meal trays.
• Ensure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature.
• Perform routine kitchen and dishwashing tasks per standard practices while complying with regulations.

Job Summary

Provides services that include helping patients make menu selections, assemble, deliver and pick-up their meal trays.As part of the caregiving team, this position is responsible for patient safety and satisfaction goals by making sure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature.Perform a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen and dishwashing areas according to standard practices and procedures while complying with regulatory requirements.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English, basic computer and mathematical skills, must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.On-the-job training to include short demonstration up to and including 90 days.
