Job summary

Forks Community Hospital is hiring a Food and Nutritional Services aide to prepare salads and sandwiches, serve meals, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen. The role includes dishwashing, refrigeration area cleaning, and restocking supplies across Acute and Extended Care.

English literacy is required; experience is desirable but not required. On-the-job training is provided, and a Washington State Food and Beverage Service Workers Permit must be obtained.

Job description

The Food and Nutritional Services aide performs a variety of tasks such as making salads, sandwiches, dishing up desserts, and washing dishes while maintaining cleanliness and meeting required sanitary conditions for food service equipment and kitchen area. The aide also takes care of the scheduled cleaning of refrigerator and freezer units as well as daily cleaning of kettles, carts, pots and pans, maintains supplies on Acute and Extended Care.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read, write and speak English. Experience is desirable but not required. Training and instruction will be provided continuously on the job. Must obtain a Washington State Food and Beverage Service Workers Permit

Shift:Variable days and shifts, Sun-Sat

SALARY: $20.58-$31.82 DOE + 10% in lieu of benefits
