Job summary

Scenic Wellness & Rehabilitiation in Missouri is seeking a Dietary Aide to help with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup for patients and staff in the nursing center and at events.

The role supports the cook, prepares nourishments, portions desserts and salads, and follows center procedures and production sheets to ensure quality and safety.

Full-time days or evenings with benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, PTO and a 401K; prior food service and long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business purposes.
• Basic sanitation, organization, and safety understanding.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
