Qualifications

• Must complete facility-required training in behavioral management and de-escalation techniques.
• Must obtain or maintain required behavior-management certification, such as SAMA, ABA, PIP, or an equivalent approved program.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks with meal preparation, portioning, tray assembly, and meal service.
• Prepare and serve physician-ordered therapeutic diets, including modified diets.
• Check meal trays for accuracy before service and delivery.
• Prepare and deliver patient snacks according to schedules.
• Follow Food Safety Manual and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean kitchen and cafeteria.
