Description

The Dietary Aide works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and performs a variety of dietary tasks including stocking food items, food prep and storage of unused unpackaged items, preparing, cooking, and serving therapeutic meals, assisting in portion control, reporting on resident food and beverage consumption, and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dining, and utility areas.

Requirements
  • Food Handler’s Permit in required counties
  • Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain)
  • Background screening, licensure verification (if applicable), reference check, drug testing
  • Tuberculosis testing
  • Employee health screening (conducted after hire)
  • Ability to move, lift, and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
