Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. The ideal candidate will ensure that residents' dietary needs are met and provide excellent customer service in a compassionate and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control guidelines.
2. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
3. Assist in dishwashing and ensure dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
4. Follow proper food handling procedures and regulations to maintain food safety standards.
5. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, residents, and other team members to ensure smooth meal service and resident satisfaction.
6. Provide excellent customer service to residents by responding to their individual dietary needs and preferences.
7. Assist with inventory control and storage of food and supplies.
Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
2. Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
3.Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Basic understanding of dietary restrictions and special diets preferred.
