Job Summary:

A Dietary Aide prepares and serves food to residents in our facilities. You will deliver dishes and ensure good sanitary conditions throughout our cooking and dining premises. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards. Aides must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach.

Common Responsibilities:

  • Take orders, prepare food following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards and work as short order cook
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
  • Operates dishwasher, sweeps and mops kitchen, refrigerator and dishwasher rooms
  • Checking in and putting away orders and deliveries in storeroom and freezer on days needed
  • Perform heavy cleaning, such as ovens and grills as requested
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Food service experience preferred but not required

  • Drug Screen
