Job summary

Eden Senior Care, through Edenbrook Platteville, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support our residents with meals and nutrition. This role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and a commitment to safe, sanitary food service in a skilled nursing environment.

You will maintain dining area cleanliness, assist with meal service, stock supplies, and help ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or dietary aide preferred.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas.
• Serving food to residents in the lunchroom/bringing food to residents in their rooms.
• Cleaning eating areas after meals.
• Bringing in delivered food items from vendors and stocking pantry/fridge/freezer.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures during food preparation.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas
• Serving food to residents in the lunchroom/bringing food to residents in their rooms
• Cleaning eating areas after meals
• Bringing in delivered food items from vendors providers and stocking the pantry/fridge/freezer
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures during the process of food preparation
• Additional duties as assigned
