Job Description: Dietary Aide - Part Time

Join our team at Split Rock Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Dietary Aide - Part Time. Be among the first 25 applicants to apply!

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the cook/chef in determining the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily meals, and assist in food preparation.
2. Perform tray line duties, check meal tickets, and prepare resident meal trays to ensure dietary orders are followed.
3. Check food inventory and stock to prevent the use of expired food and help maintain par levels of food supplies.
4. Clean dishes, pots, and pans using dishwashers and sinks.
5. Clean food service areas.
6. Deliver meals to resident floors, dining rooms, and resident bedrooms.
7. Assist during emergency procedures such as code E, fire, disaster, and other health emergencies, as directed.
8. Follow the code of conduct, ensure resident privacy, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No specific license or certification required.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, dining rooms, and walk-in refrigerators/freezers.
• Physical ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English and tolerate cleaning chemicals with proper equipment.
