Job summary

Covenant Woods, a continuing care retirement community in Mechanicsville, VA, is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and dining services for residents with dietary plans and preferences. Deliver meals in dining rooms or via room service as needed, while upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards.

We value reliable, friendly team players who can stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs in a supportive, team-focused environment with part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and food service for residents in accordance with dietary plans and preferences.
• Set up dining areas and ensure tables and equipment are clean and properly arranged.
• Deliver meals to residents in dining rooms and/or room service style.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
• Provide friendly and courteous service to residents and team members.

Covenant Woods, a vibrant continuing care retirement community located in Mechanicsville, VA, is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and service-oriented individual to join our Dining Services team as Dietary Aide.

Schedule:

• 16-20 hours weekly
• 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 -7: 30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in meal preparation and food service for residents in accordance with dietary plans and preferences.
