Dietary aide - Part time (Food Services)
The dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and effectively communicate with managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Requires standing/walking frequently, sitting occasionally, reaching, pushing/pulling, talking/hearing, tasting/smelling frequently, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to focus.
