Overview

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is looking for a part-time Dietary Aide at our Kalamazoo, Michigan location. NPH is the national leader in providing medical and neurobehavioral care to patients in acute psychiatric distress. You will be joining a team of dedicated staff who provide exceptional, patient-centered care and understand our patients are always our number one priority! The Dietary Aide will assist our patients, guests, and staff by preparing and providing meals in collaboration with our dietary staff.

Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide duties include:

• Following the diets set forth by the company Dietitian
• Preparing and providing nourishing food to residents, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions and as directed in accordance with established policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in institutional food service or family dining restaurants preferred. Experience in healthcare food services is a plus.
• Certification: ServSafe certification required or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
