Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide for a part-time role at West Village Post Acute in Greenville, South Carolina. The facility is a 132-bed skilled nursing location offering a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth within our network.

Responsibilities include meal tray setup, dishwashing, serving meals, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Requires 18+ years, healthcare experience, cooking/kitchen skills, and a food handlers certificate; CNA is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Cooking/kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routine and set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at the beginning of shift.
• Observe water temperatures during dishwashing cycles and operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and store groceries safely.
• Leave the kitchen clean and sanitary and assist cook or dietary supervisor.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators; maintain floors.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
