Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management’s Cannon Rivers Senior Living seeks a positive, reliable Part-Time Dietary Aide to support residents with meals and care. Shifts include 6 am–2:30 pm every other weekend and 4 pm–7 pm, reflecting the community’s needs.

You will help maintain clean food prep areas, serve meals, and ensure safe handling per procedures, contributing to a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.
• Ability to be patient and polite.
• Ability to be accurate, concise and detail-oriented.
• Ability to read, speak, understand and communicate effectively in English through verbal and written means.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas
• Serving food to residents in the lunchroom/bringing food to residents in their rooms
• Cleaning eating areas after meals
• Bringing in delivered food items from vendors providers and stocking the pantry/fridge/freezer
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures during the process of food preparation
• Additional duties as assigned

We are looking for a positive and reliable Part-Time Dietary Aides who understands how important his/her work is to providing quality care for residents.

Available Shifts

• 6 am -2:30 pm every other weekend
• 4 pm -7 pm
