Job summary

Delta View Post Acute is seeking a dependable, compassionate Dietary Aide to support our residents with nutritious meals and maintain a clean dining and kitchen environment. The role includes meal preparation, serving, tray setup, and ensuring safety and sanitation in a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow written and verbal instructions. Previous healthcare or food service experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.
• Compassionate and respectful approach when working with residents.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with food service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and beverages to residents.
• Set up and deliver meal trays according to resident diets and preferences.
• Assist with dining room and kitchen cleanup.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

• Follow assigned therapeutic and special diet requirements.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents.
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments.
