Job summary

Morada Senior Living in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our on-site dining team. The role covers dishwashing, dining room setup, meal service, and maintaining sanitary kitchen and dining areas in accordance with Morada standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and previous experience (preferred). It offers full-time and part-time hours, with a comprehensive benefit package for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Operates dishwashing machine to wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Maintains clean and sanitary dining and food service areas by sweeping, mopping and cleaning surfaces.
• Sets up and maintains dish and pot washing areas.
• Cleans production equipment as needed.
• Sets and resets tables in dining room to Morada standards.
• Assists in serving meals and taking meal orders.
• Ensures residents/guests are satisfied with meals.
• Follows daily/weekly cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
• Records dish machine temps and sanitizer strength.
• Assists in receiving and organizing food and non-food supplies.

Our community is looking for a Dietary Aid to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Operates dishwashing machine to properly wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Maintains clean, sanitary, clutter free and safe environment in food services areas by sweeping, mopping and pressure washing floors, cleaning and sanitizing dish machine.
• Sets up and maintains dish and pot washing areas.
• Cleans production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Sets and re-sets the tables in dining room to Morada standards.
• Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.
• Takes meal/drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Assures resident/guest is satisfied with their meals.
• Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Attends all departmental in-services as required.
• Records and maintains documentation for the following measures for service standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Manually records dish machine(s) temperatures and sanitizer strength
  • Manually records pot and pan sink temperature and sanitizer strength
• Assists in receiving and organization of all food and non-food supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year previous experience preferred.
