A leading healthcare facility is seeking a Dietary Aide to support food services. The role involves setting up meal trays, assisting with serving, and maintaining a clean kitchen. Ideal candidates should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with a high school diploma and a food handler's certificate.
Dietary Aide - Palm Valley Post Acute (Food Services)
The dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and communicate effectively with managers and staff.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Visual acuity for close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
Work usually occurs in a low to moderate noise environment. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
