Dietary Aide - Nutritional Services - PRN

Under the supervision of the Nutritional Service Lead, the Dietary Aide is responsible for safe food preparation and maintaining high safety and sanitation standards based on the food code and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Coordinate cafeteria operations, including filling food and ice, date rotation, and checkout.
• Keep the cafeteria clean and stocked with supplies.
• Prepare salads and sandwiches for the cafeteria.
• Dispose of trash and garbage appropriately.
• Load and oversee the dishwasher.
• Put away clean dishes and utensils.
• Mop floors as necessary.
• Perform special cleaning duties as assigned.
• Follow guidelines for handling chemicals and safe equipment usage.
• Prevent cross-contamination through proper food handling techniques.
• Observe infection control practices and proper handwashing techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
