Job summary

Image Strategic Partners is seeking a Day shift dietary aide in SNH - STILWELL, OK. You will prepare trays for general and therapeutic diets, deliver items, and maintain a clean, orderly tray line for patients.

You will also deliver food carts, operate dishwashers, wash items by hand, assist with salads and desserts, and follow infection-control standards as directed by the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Prepare and deliver items as requested.
• Maintain tray line in a clean, neat, and organized manner.
• Deliver food carts to patient care units. Return carts to kitchen at designated times.
• Load and oversee dishwashers and log and record wash/rinse temperatures.
• Wash specified items by hand. Example – Pots, pans, knives.
• Assist in kitchen cleaning as per facility policies.
• Assist in preparing salads, desserts, and other nourishments.
• Performs special cleaning duties using proper infection control techniques as assigned by the Dietary Manager
• Treat co-workers, residents and guests with respect and dignity.
• Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
