Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for kitchen and dining areas.
• Ability to prepare meals under guidance and use cookware safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals per instructions from dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Assist with post-meal cleanup and clearing of tables.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep stations clean and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory.
• Help upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
