Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with meal service, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining area. No prior experience is required, but a high school diploma is preferred.

Certification such as ServSafe or a Food Handler may be required by state law. The role offers hourly pay of $17.00–$18.00 in Massachusetts and opportunities for hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
