Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. Starting pay is USD $15.00 per hour with numerous employee benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, EarnedIt, and more.

You will assist with food prep, serve meals per dietary needs, maintain sanitation, and interact positively with residents and staff while following safety guidelines. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

ServSafe certification / Food Handler certification
