Job summary

Woodlands Place is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team. We offer full-time and part-time positions with distinct schedules, including a 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 4-on/2-off rotation and a split shift from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

You will help prepare and serve meals to patients and residents, ensuring accuracy and dignity in every service. Join a compassionate team making a daily difference.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Food handler’s permit preferred per local requirements.
• Experience in food prep and service in a skilled nursing or long term care setting preferred.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and/or service of meals for patients, staff and events as directed.
• Serve food according to the menu and patient preferences and diet orders.
• Assist the Cook by ensuring proper portioning and safe handling of food.
• May wash dishes as needed or directed by the Dietary Manager.
