Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Service: Prepare meals according to prescribed diets, physician recommendations, and established recipes.
• Dietary Compliance: Ensure meals comply with dietary restrictions, allergies, and patient preferences, communicating with the nursing team and dietitians.
• Sanitation & Cleaning: Wash dishes, clean equipment, maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, and follow all safety and hygiene regulations.
• Inventory & Stocking: Monitor and take inventory of food supplies and kitchen equipment, ensuring appropriate stock levels for meal preparation.
• Dining Area Management: Set tables, serve food to residents, clear dining areas, and manage waste and recycling.
• Communication: Report patient concerns, such as low food intake, to supervising staff or dietitians.
