Job summary

Novato Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated food service team member to ensure timely preparation and delivery of nutritious meals and supplements for residents, in line with physician orders and regulatory requirements. You will help maintain a clean, safe kitchen and support administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of nutritious meals and supplements to residents according to physician orders and in compliance with Federal, State and Company requirements.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Attend all required meetings and in-services.
• Report problems and needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation with other staff.
• Present a professional image to consumers and resolve consumer concerns per company standards.
