Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals for residents in a long-term care facility.

You'll follow safety guidelines, interact with residents, and contribute to a supportive dining environment while adhering to state and facility requirements. This role offers opportunities for hands-on training and career development within HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform routine tasks.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required per state/county law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
