(Pleasanton North Nursing and Rehabilitation) LSSH Pleasanton I, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service and kitchen operations. You will learn the routine quickly, help set up trays, and assist with serving meals while ensuring cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, stocking, cleaning surfaces, and supporting the dietary supervisor. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical procedures and recipes, and effectively present information to managers/colleagues.
• Ability to perform basic math: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.

Responsabilités

• Learn the food service routine quickly and set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving different meals and observe dishwashing temperatures.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks and keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff and collaborate with other departments.
