Melrose/Wakefield Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking an entry‑level staff member for our dietary and food services team. You will participate in menu planning, food preparation, tray delivery, and keeping kitchens clean and compliant with safety standards.

The role emphasizes working in a hospital food service environment, with shifts including day/evening hours and weekend rotation. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth exist within the Tufts Medicine system.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients and teammates.
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and communicates accurate diet order information to ensure patients receive appropriate meals.
• Assists patients with menu selection and writes correct regular or modified diets.
• Delivers and retrieves patient trays and ensures tray accuracy and sanitation.
