Job summary

Pearl of Hinsdale in Hinsdale, IL seeks a Dietary Aide to help maintain dining areas, assist in meal preparation under guidance of dietary manager or cook, and ensure food-safety procedures are followed.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain kitchen surfaces, store clean items, remove trash, monitor stock, and support residents with safe, timely meal service as part of a cooperative dietary and kitchen team.

Qualifications

Responsible for maintaining setting up tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean, sanitary, and organized. Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook in our senior healthcare facility. Duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment; maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and floors; properly storing clean items; removing trash; and following all food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Works cooperatively with all dietary and kitchen staff to ensure residents receive safe and timely meal service.
