A leading healthcare facility is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in food service operations. The role involves setting up meal trays, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and monitoring dishwashing processes. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to obtain a food handler's certificate.
General Purpose: The dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity during the shift.
Reports To: The dietary aide reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Good visual perception is necessary.
Typically low to moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
