Job summary

Heatherdowns Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our food service team in Toledo, Ohio. You will assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and delivering meals to residents while following dietary restrictions and safety procedures.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to resident well-being. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement are available within our nutrition and care departments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to work as a supportive team member and promote teamwork
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to all food functions following established policies
• Prepare and deliver to the nurses' station items for med passes
• Set up resident meal trays according to diets
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays on the nursing floor
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work area and dispose of waste properly
• Assist cooks with meal preparation and substitutions as needed
