Job summary

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, NY is seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. The role supports meal service, ensuring residents receive meals in a timely, safe, and pleasant manner.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents.
Set up and work on the meal tray line.
Deliver food carts and meal trays throughout the facility.
Operate the dishwasher and assist in the dish room.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
Assist with trash removal and recycling.
Sweep and mop kitchen and dining areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work as part of a team to provide excellent service to our residents.
