Job Summary

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs duties related to the preparation, service, and transport of patient, staff, and guest meals. Responsibilities include inventory management, stocking food and supplies, food preparation, setup and service, and transport of food and supplies. Ensures all equipment and work areas are cleaned and sanitized between uses. Maintains accurate cash operations. May review daily patient menus to ensure dietary requirements are met, transport food and supplies within or between hospitals, and prepare and deliver patient formulas.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
2. Additional experience or training required depending on discipline.
